- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪UPDATE: Well, I signed up and then was notified of a Flood exclusion (if a warning, watch or advisory alert was issued before 9/8 @ 12:02 AM) that a "flood in Progress" exclusion would apply and there would be no coverage for flooding as a result of Irma. Lowering my "star" rating as I would have appreciated that awareness when I signed up. The only information was that I would be covered effective on 9/8 so long as I signed up on Wednesday ... no mention of any flood in progress exclusion. With Irma approaching this week, I thought it might have been too late to get Flood Insurance. But no ... Kim Harlin to the rescue! Kim called with a reasonable alternative to FEMA insurance and at a competitive rate with an only 3 day waiting period. Believe I may approach Augustyniak with my auto and home owners needs when those policies come up for renewal. Excellent customer service.May 10, 2017by Glenn Perkins
