  One of the worst experiences I have ever had! Still in disbelief about how the visit went and how unbelievably rude Dr. Castro was. I went for a Pap smear (which is uncomfortable to begin with). I am left in the exam room naked & cold w/ just a big piece of ripped paper covering me for 25 min. (I was one of the only patients in the office) She proceeds to do the exam w/ another nurse in the room (never asked if I was okay with the extra company) all the while whispering in a different language to each other, both poking and prodding at me. When finished, Castro asks if the nurse can examine me further down there for practice! Seeing the disbelief/discomfit on my face, the nurse nicely said "it's okay don't worry about it" before I could respond. I am then handed a half used roll of toilet paper to wipe myself in front of them and then asked to change back into clothes while they were still in the room. At this point I burst into tears from a build up of everything and feeling incredibly vulnerable and uncomfortable. If all of that wasn't bad enough, Castro then gets defensive, making excuses and telling me basically why I was wrong for feeling the way I did. Things only got worse from there. She spoke to me in the rudest, most condescending way, with not one once of sympathy or compassion for how I was feeling. I also must mention, I had to personally ask if I needed to pee in a cup before this exam (which I have always had to do before). After first saying "no don't worry about it" the nurse then changes her mind and asks me to do the urine sample. Which she then lost! And I was asked to do it again! The cups they ask you to pee in are plastic, unwrapped, unsealed shot cups... That has got to be some kind of bio-hazard, health violation! The whole experience was traumatizing and I would not recommend that anyone choose Dr. Castro to be there primary care physician!

  She will push religion on you and use GOD as a way to treat conditions. We went there to take care of a condition and she tells us to pray and be closer to GOD and sent us on our way. Did not even recommend any treatment or medication. Never will go there again. Regardless whether I believe in God or not, she should not be using GOD as a way to treat her patients. That is very unprofessional. Never again.
