  I have been a patient at the Orange Park office for almost 10 years and was excited to see a location near my new home, that was until I went. The Doctor suggested I have a mole removed along with a growth (my choice) and he had his nursing assistant do it ALONE! Not a PA or NP, she was just his assistant and he quickly gave her instructions and bolted out of the room. I even asked her if he was coming back, and her response was "no he trained me how to do it". Pretty sure this is illegal to have her in the room alone removing anything off my body not to mention she probably has no license. In hindsight I should have said no and left but I was so caught off guard. I have had many things removed over the years and the Doctor or NP always does it. I have since changed practices and my new Derm has assured me she does all of her own removals. Go at your own risk:)

  Incompetent, and I'm being kind. Did a massively invasive surgery on a surface basil spot about the size of a pencil eraser. My new dermatologist suggested, as it was not deep, that it could have been scraped and cauterized and been effective. Apparently dermatologist can decide on how invasive to be. Three weeks waiting for the hole in my back to heal up properly on a procedure that was suppose to be a couple of stitches. Picture is of the broken suture in my back 14 hours after the surgery. Doctor decided to save himself some time by putting in a continuous zipper stitch. 21 exterior and about ten internal. Once the stitch broke it unzipped about two inches.Still waiting on legal counsel to decide on how to proceed. Stay clear.
